About

The Autry National Center’s libraries, the Braun Research Library and the Autry Library, hold one of the nation’s most comprehensive book, archival, and artifact collections on Native American cultures and the history of the American West.

On the Autry Libraries Blog you will find frequent updates about our research collections, acquisitions, projects, fellowships, programs, services and other activities. Links to the Autry National Center, the library catalog and our digital database, Collections Online, will allow you to access our library and museum collections.

During the first week of each month we feature highlights from the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Archive.  Formerly (from December 2010 to July 2011) the first week featured a series on the David Dortort Archive.

The third week of each month provides an opportunity for an inside look at archival processing projects related to the Autry and Braun Libraries’ recently awarded NHPRC grant.
